Born: Epsom, Surrey.  Lived in New Zealand for 20 years from the age of 5.

Extra: Co-founded Southwark Playhouse in 1993.  CEO since 1998 where produced many shows including John Adams I Was Looking at the Ceiling.  Commissioned plays from David Cregan, Doug Livingstone, Claire Luckham and most recently Everything Must Go by Stephen Sharkey as a farewell to their Southwark home.
